​Congrats to Senior Deonte Sherwood on his commitment to Sage College (NY) to play basketball and pursue a degree in Nursing. 
Congrats to Jonathan Bryant II for committing to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on a basketball scholarship. Jon becomes the first Division I boys basketball signee in school history and only the third Clay county boys basketball player to sign out of high school in the last 11 years.
Congrats to the Varsity Boys Basketball Team for capturing the first District Championship in program history over Creekside 75-72.

Oakleaf HIgh School and Fleming Island High School Alumni that went on to play College Basketball that were Coached by Coach Jason Price.
Thank you from Oakleaf High School and the Boys Basketball Program for McDonalds of Fleming Island and Oakleaf for the financial donation to help repaint and resurface the gym floor. Special thank you to Jim Van Laere for spearheading this undertaking and all of the support we have received from him. Come out to the Palace of Oakleaf to see the McDonalds Court.

Congrats to the Boys Varsity for winning the Bozard Ford St. Augustine Holiday Tournament Championship game over Deland High School 60-59 on an OT put back layup by Dominique Mitchell as time expired. Jonathan Bryant II was named Tourney MVP. First Holiday or regular season tournament championship in school history.

Congrats to senior Deonte Sherwood on his 11 point and 5 assist performance in the 2018 Edward Waters College Senior All Star Game. He led the West squad to victory in the game.

Congrats to alumni Kevin Thomas-Griffin  on his college team West Virginia Tech University earning an at large bid to the NAIA National Basketball Tournament

Congrats to the Boys Varsity for a district win over Gainesville Buchholz 53-41 and now have a record of 4-2. Congrats to JV Boys for their win over Buchholz as well and run their season record to 4-0.

Congrats to the Boys Varsity for a 73-54 win vs. Lake Region HS at the RP Funding Center - Jenkins Arena in Lakeland. 

Congrats to the Boys Varsity on a district and county win vs. Fleming Island 51-50. Saich Williams had the game winning shot with 3.2 seconds left to seal it. JV won their game in impressive fashion running their record to 3-0 on the season.

Congrats to the Boys Varsity on winning the home opener 83-49 over Ridgeview. With the win the Oakleaf Boys Basketball Program topped 100 wins all time. Thanks to all the current and past players and coaches. One a Knight always a Knight. Congrats to the JV on a convincing win over Ridgeview.

Congrats to all the players that attended the Varsity Try-Out, especially to those who now make up TEAM 8. 

Congrats to Oakleaf Boys Basketball Alumnus and 3 year Varsity Letter winner Kevin Thomas-Griffin for signing a scholarship to play basketball and pursue his degree at West Virginia Tech University. Kevin had previously played Junior College basketball at Georgia Highlands University and Albany Tech before signing with the Golden Bears.

Congrats to Derian Fraga on being named the Varsity Assistant Coach. Welcome back to the Knightnation. Derian returns to his alma mater OHS after a four year playing career at Webber International University.
